I couldn’t help but stop at Freya Dalsjö display whilst taking a quick walk through Pitti W. Her eye catching, exciting designs stand out boldly commanding attention.

>Label: AshishDate: 21st September 2010Images: Darrel HunterAs I sat in the front row waiting for the Ashish SS11 show to start I was quite anxious to see which direction the designs would take this season. My excitement and anticipation were reward when the show opened and I started to see the various pieces gliding along the runway.Who else could do the Wild West in sequins and pull it off?? The Cowboy and Indians themed Ashsih show was a creative and illustrious affair. There were sequinned leopard and paisley print dresses, accompanied by cowboy boots painted with different western images. Feathered head pieces as well as arrows and cowboy hats were also present to accompany cow prints and fringed trousers. I also had another chance to see one of my favourite models, Rahma M, walk in the show. Below are some of my images from the show.Rahma M
Between September and December 2009 Somerset house played host to the SHOWstudio Fashion Revolution exhibition. Besides being an inspiring and insightful look into the work of one of my favourite photographers, Nick Knight, this exhibition also gave visitors a chance to observe photo shoots as they happened. As a photographer and a lover of art this was great opportunity for me to observe the creative process. For me the process and creativity behind the scenes is at times even more awesome than the end result. Vogue February 2010 shoot Model: Natalia Vodianova
